Hope College.

We walked around Hope's campus a while this weekend. It was beautiful, and I would like to say that Connor and his future sister will be continuing the Bast tradition of attending, but that's not set in stone anymore. The way college costs look now, a degree from any local Community College and maybe some continuing education at a reputable 'online' concern (University of Phoenix, here we come!! Oh wait, you mean we don't even need to leave home??) may be our only option.

Eastown Street Fair.

This is another annual tradition we've been doing for quite a while now. They close down part of Eastown and there are vendors with all kinds of local art and items for sale, tons of different food booths, and live music all day (and night). Mark & Kristi live close by, and my friends the Van Dykens live even closer, so we make a whole day of it. Good times, fo'shizzle.

The Big Boy Bed.

Just a quick shot of the new 'Big Boy Bed' that is part of a new bedroom set for Connor. (Thanks Dad!!) We moved the nursery to a front bedroom and moved the guest bedroom bed to the office... it works, but barely.

More Holland.

We spent some time in Holland after Labor Day. My Mom was there as well, and we had a great weekend! Everyone loves the new house.

Motel (not Hotel) in Youngstown, OH.

This is it. I think the photos speak for themselves.

Labor Day.

We had to leave, which is always hard for me to do. We drove to Youngstown, OH though, which is a pretty good stretch. If I had my way I would have taken the LETS GO out to the point and hung out with the folks out there.
